These dishes are NOT ceramic but made with air dry clay. They are light weight but still breakable.  They are water resistant, but not for any liquid or food. Air dry clay, acrylic paints and non-toxic varnish.
 
The decorations are handmade meaning they may differ ever so slightly in style and size (though differences are small) ...and adds to the rustic handmade charm.
